The 2006 Chardonnay Reserve comes from Rancho Santa Rosa, located in the Santa Rita Hills appellation. Because of its close proximity to the Pacific Ocean , Rancho Santa Rosa provides an ideal vineyard setting for cultivation of distinctive cold-climate Char don nay. This wine has a lovely bouquet of apple, pear and vanilla cream. The wine is beautifully balanced, with creamy textures offset with crisp acidity.
