Ben, a Roseworthy graduate, grew up within the wine industry and started his career working as a cellarhand at Barossa Valley Estate and then as Winemaker at Tyrrells. The 2006 Cabernet was aged for 14 months in used French and American oak. Purple-colored, it delivers a fragrant nose of vanilla, cedar, spice box, tobacco, and black currants. This leads to a medium-bodied, elegantly styled Cabernet with concentrated black fruit flavors, a firm structure, and a long finish. Drink it over the next 4-5 years. It is an outstanding value.-Jay Miller Wine Advocate 91 Points. Label Alcohol: 14.5%Total Acidity: 7.1g/l PH: 3.26Residual sugar: 0.6g/l
