Quivira's Anderson Ranch Zinfandel is grown on Ray and Nadine Anderson's Dry CreekValley property, where once grew lots and lots of kiwis. A few years ago, Quivira'sproprietor, Henry Wendt and Ray Anderson signed a 30-yearlease on the property , and Quivira beganplanting the site to heritage clone Zinfandel. Head-trained and tightly spaced, thissixteen-acre vineyard on Lytton Springs Road is already producing great fruit for suchyoung vines, and can only get better with time.
