Williams-Sonoma Creminelli Sausage, Assorted 3Lb, Tradizionale, Piemonte, And Porcini

The Creminelli family has handcrafted superb sausages at its salumificio in Italy's Piemonte region since 1906. A century later, the founder's grandson Cristiano Creminelli brought the family's recipes and tradition of excellence to his own workshop in the United States. There, Creminelli sausages are ground and mixed by hand, using choice cuts from pork raised on small family farms on a diet of organic white grains, free of antibiotics and chemical growth enhancers. Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and porcini mushrooms imported from Italy and a variety of organic spices complement, without overwhelming, the flavor of the tender, well-marbled meat. Stuffed into natural pork casing, Creminelli sausages have the authentic taste and velvety texture of Italy's most renowned salumi. Each set of 12 (3 lb. total) includes 4 each of these coarse-ground pork sausages: Tradizionale - the original Creminelli family sausage - is a subtle, aromatic blend with hints of cloves and nutmeg. Piemonte combines a mix of mountain herbs with organic rosemary. Porcini is stuffed with Tuscan porcini mushrooms and aged Parmigiano Reggiano.
